What is the worst Christmas gift you have ever received?

A microscope, a crappy plastic one. I was 14 for God sake.

Anything is nice to get.

I dont think I have ever received a bad gift - I am appreciative of anything someone gives me because that were thinking of me and that means a lot.

Learning that my dad was terminally ill from cancer. Christmas is not about gifts: it's about memories made.

My son bought me a giant iron Chickadee one year at Christmas tree shops. It sat out on my back porch and rusted, and stained the porch. Another year he and his wife bought me one of those Walmart gift sets with strawberry scented lotion and hand wash...and a red apron. Another year he bought me a big green lamp shaped like an elephant, with a bright green lampshade. I really think the chickadee might have been the worst.

The old stereo out of my "brother's" car when he bought a new one...I couldn't even use it because it wasn't compatible with my car (I would have had to have some expensive reworking of my dash to make it work). I think he just gave it to me as a Christmas gift to get rid of it because he didn't know what else to do with it.

I asked for a garter belt when I was starting to feel not young and I got an Ace bandage for my knee instead. Yeah, it's funny now...

A few years ago my "friend" of 25 years and saw me go through hell drinking hard liquor, yet, gave me a huge bottle of Whiskey for xmas even though I told her repeatedly that I hadn't touched liquor in a long time (we'd been apart for a few years then reconnected) she's not my friend anymore

Dunno about gifts, but last year sucked ass. Sister-in-law rushed to the hospital(ok now) and my heating system broke.

expired chocolate - from an aunt who was a chronic regifter, who ALWAYS demanded expensive gifts for her brats. not only was the chocolate expired, but it was also evident that it had melted completely and resolidified 🙄
