What is something you still do which is considered "old fashioned?"

SW-User
I say thank you and please
SW-User
@SW-User it is odd.. But I feel younger people I see don't have a lot of manners like that
I still call people sir or ma'am in person.
SW-User
@SW-User No, unfortunately most don't. I blame parents for this. So many do not raise their kids with this.
Bourbon or whiskey
Bitters
Sugar or simple syrup
Maybe a little water or club soda
Garnish with orange. I like it when they throw in a moonshine cherry.
SW-User
@SW-User not sure why this popped up as a new comment instead of under the original comment. 🤔
SW-User
@ProdigalSummer No problem! Thanks for all the info!

Open the door for people,

...and I would say offer old people a seat on public transport, but I don't really take public transport anymore
SW-User
@Fishy That's great!

Just about everything I do is old-fashioned. Flip-phone, land line, talk to strangers, clothes (the shirt I'm wearing is at least 20 years old), same wife for 40 years....
SW-User
@exexec Cool! I love it!
Byron8by7 · M
I use the U.s. Postal Service to pay my bills by mail, with checks, envelopes, and stamps.
SW-User
@Byron8by7 Yep. You are old school. 🤗
Byron8by7 · M
@SW-User
Literally and figuratively. I attended first grade at a one room country school - one teacher, seventeen students, grades one to eight, with one to four students in each grade. I learned to read with Dick and Jane. I am something of a Luddite / diglexic.
SW-User
@Byron8by7 I think that's charming! My mom went to school that way too.
Caprice · 41-45, F
Use a clothes line to dry laundry (when it's warm out).
SW-User
@Caprice That's always nice! My mom does that too. I love how the clothes smell after being in the sunshine.
Caprice · 41-45, F
@SW-User It's funny how you can smell sunshine. I love it🤗
