Yes, it's very possible. I was worried when NK started threatening, because they could launch right over the North Pole even with their limited range, and hit any city in the United States.

Pretty sure it's possible unless we have some kind of badass laser defense grid I don't know about. Even then it would have to be insanely shielded against magnetism and such. I can't even imagine the cost of something like that.
