Like everybody else... all the time. Blocking is like saying hi on SW, apparently. Although I don't even get how things work on SW, someone *just* replied to an old post of mine... now I can't see their profile, but I can see their reply. So did they mute me or report me or bock me and I can still see their previous replies? Uhh. Who knows!

Some people proactively block, I've noticed. Occasionally I see that I've been blocked by people I've had nothing to do with. Doesn't bother me, but I guess they see something in my profile or in my public responses they don't like. Their problem, not mine. 🤷‍♂️

I personally haven't, but it happens to me all the time. I see [i][c=#BF0080]This message has been deleted[/c][/i] fairly often, and sometimes I see the person's username in a response to their comment, and it is often a username that I don't recognize, because it's someone I've never interacted with.

I agree, it is usually a bit premature when you've never had an interaction with the person. I say usually because there may be someone whom you know is bad news, possibly from very nasty comments or from messages that others have received from them that they have shown you. But those are special cases.

Yes. I blocked a user who spammed with some disgusting misogynist shit over and over again. 🙄

I found out about that only recently. My good friend explained to me that most of those deleted answers were from people who had possibly blocked me. I didn't know any of them.

if you filter out minors, or some other age group, could be that. or they may have filtered out your age group. not always a block when you can’t see someone’s comment.

Yeah. On my other account I vented and got some insulting people commenting. I told them privately my opinion on them and blocked 😈

I do it frequently, mainly if I see a political comment, I just cut em off right there, I don't need to or want to get involved in a political debate.

Depends. I haven’t seen anything you’ve posted that was offensive (to me). But sometimes I’ve seen posters who made openly racist or misogynistic comments. I don’t [b]need[/b] to speak to them to know we’re unlikely to get along. And I’d rather not wait until they decide to comment on my posts.
