Have you ever blocked someone that you have had no interaction with?

I was checking my notifications and someone had added a new comment to a question I’d already answered. I went to look at it and I couldn’t, because they’ve blocked me! I don’t believe I’ve had any interaction with this person, so I was a bit surprised. It seems a bit premature to block someone without ever speaking to them imho.

I personally haven't, but it happens to me all the time. I see [i][c=#BF0080]This message has been deleted[/c][/i] fairly often, and sometimes I see the person's username in a response to their comment, and it is often a username that I don't recognize, because it's someone I've never interacted with.

I agree, it is usually a bit premature when you've never had an interaction with the person. I say usually because there may be someone whom you know is bad news, possibly from very nasty comments or from messages that others have received from them that they have shown you. But those are special cases.
