What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of?

Alcohol i don’t have a problem with it but I think it’s overrated and people blow it out of proportion. They make it seem like they have to make it known to everyone they’re either drinking or drunk, which really, no one cares. Lol they also make it seem like they’re fun and funny when they drink when they’re really just loud and obnoxious.
I feel similar about weed I just feel like people go out of their way to announce they smoke weed.
Spending a large amount of money on makeup products.
Super hero movies they’re alright but people go insane over them similar with sports.
A lot of the popular books or Tv series, I think a lot of these things are fine but I think a lot of people just ruin them by being obsessive and Braggy with them.

@BlueMetalChick I never understood the appeal though. The only time I had fun was when I was building semi-vulgar sentences out of names on the dresses of ice hockey players. 😂

@CrazyMusicLover Because it's exciting, like, to see a bunch of people who are good at a sport to all play that sport together. They do cool moves and stuff. And if you're a hockey fan like I am, there's plenty of fighting too.
