What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of?

Alcohol i don’t have a problem with it but I think it’s overrated and people blow it out of proportion. They make it seem like they have to make it known to everyone they’re either drinking or drunk, which really, no one cares. Lol they also make it seem like they’re fun and funny when they drink when they’re really just loud and obnoxious.
I feel similar about weed I just feel like people go out of their way to announce they smoke weed.
Spending a large amount of money on makeup products.
Super hero movies they’re alright but people go insane over them similar with sports.
A lot of the popular books or Tv series, I think a lot of these things are fine but I think a lot of people just ruin them by being obsessive and Braggy with them.

@BlueMetalChick 😂 I’m just tired of hearing about people’s dumb alcohol stories as if they’re funny. They’re only funny to the people they’re around because those people are also drunk which honestly a lot of people who get “drunk” are not as wasted as they make it seem they just over do it and exaggerate it. “White girl drunk” whatever they call it 😂 I’ve been around drunk people and they’re not funny they’re just annoying and try their hardest to be funny.

A few of my dad's coworkers were once bragging about how they had this contest to see who could down the most Irish car bombs (a type of shot) at the party and my dad was rolling his eyes so hard I thought his contact lenses were gonna pop out.

Man even older people are into bragging like that ? I would have thought it was just a younger thing but then again I even see it on here people posting about how they’re drunk being super extra with their typos and I’m like “you need to calm tf down and stop over doing it. You’re too old for this”
