What causes a younger person (30-40 give or take) to lose teeth?

Possibly....but it could also be disease or trauma (from sports or other reasons) to the mouth.

Different reasons. Some are born with genetic disorders which keeps the from growing teeth at all or having very little..some have to have their teeth removed for one reason or another. Drugs can often be why for some people, but not always.

Different reasons.. like diabetes, laziness to brush and floss properly or it could be hereditary.

If it’s not drugs, it could be pretty bad nutrient deficiencies.

I'm going to have a have a tooth removed soon because when brushing my teeth I've been using too much force (yeah, that's a thing, apparently) and it pushed my gum up and now one of my top back teeth's bottom is exposed. Hurts when I eat certain things.
