But then they say.."It's in God's hands now" when the Doctors can't heal them. Ironic.
Where are the Doctors they trusted in now?

@Magenta huh? Ok I must have really tired brain...

God and science are one and the same . 😊@Magenta

SW-User
because some things cant even be explained by science how it got better or recovered.

@SW-User so a medical anomaly. They do happen

SW-User
@Starsandfire yes they do happen but still for people an anomaly can be a sign for something.
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@SW-User I suppose...
Do you not have faith?
Okay ... works for me
But, without faith ... you could never appreciate why people thank the Lord.
So ... yes ... I do thank the Lord ... It proceeds from my faith ... and I do believe, that through Jesus's hands ... healing was reported to have occurred.

@questionWeaver I've read the bible and have no doubt jesus (whatever kibd of human he was) did a lot of good things for people. I just struggle to understand, working in a hospital, why so many don't see that it's human perseverance that creates "miracles".
Good point ... it is lazy for somebody with a miracle to thank angels ... yet slight the same angels whose hands delivered the miracle.
My faith leads me to believe prayers are heard ... and medical workers are the angels through which prayer is answered.
Yet ... this angel thing is not robotic. Medical staff have influence, choice and compassion ... it is more like getting the right angel, in the right place, on the right day.

Now don't confuse Jesus with God .
AJKnoz · 31-35, M
Maybe because they believe God made the doctors?
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@AJKnoz 😂😂😂
Gingerbreadspice · F
I'm not religious but I say thank god for that cause its just something people say.
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@Gingerbreadspice oh yeah, I mean when they 100% attribute god for their miraculous recovery
Gingerbreadspice · F
Well I guess there are people who literally thank god for everything because to them they believe its cause god created you and he decides your fate.

The core belief is:
God is origin of knowledge
God designed the human mind to search for knowledge and pursue it relentlessly
Man goes to study medicine and learn to heal/repair the body God designed
Man heals and repairs bodies
The end
That’s not actually how people think but it is what our faith essentially would teach on the matter if people shut the hell up and learned about their own faith

@Bluesky53 why can't we just congratulate ourselves for making smart life choices/staying out of trouble and just accept that bad things happen?
Bluesky53 · 61-69, M
