Be confused because I have zero children
SW-User
This depends partially on how old she is.

Generally I'd be stressed out and let her know how I feel but I wouldn't give her a lecture about it. Obviously she already knows what she did, or didn't do. It could be entirely possible that she used protection and it just happened on accident. It's better to listen and try to use reason and tell her what her options are than blow up about something that can't be changed.

I would 100% help raise the baby if she decided to keep it so she could finish school.
SW-User
@fdbgljkfsdbgkljfsdbgkljS I mean you can't reverse time and make it so that it hasn't happened. If she came to me and said, "Mom, I don't want to keep this baby." that's one thing, but I would absolutely not suggest an abortion to her. That could be misconstrued as me being angry/not wanting to deal with the problem at hand.

@SW-User She's 15 and you had her when you were 3, but forgot!
You'll make a great Grandmother!
SW-User
@Some1Else She would be 15 in that case. :P
dumpstermeow · 41-45, F
I'd ready the coat hanger.
Cstmc · 36-40, M
@dumpstermeow I'm sure if we use my sex swing I can cave it's head in. Lol
dumpstermeow · 41-45, F
@Cstmc again, whatever works.
Cstmc · 36-40, M
@dumpstermeow I mean..if you wanna watch to make sure it gets done..I'm cool with it haha
SW-User
I'd be concerned, not least because I'm 25 and have a teenage daughter :?
SW-User
I would take her in my arms and hug her and tell her how much I love her. I would tell her that I'm going to help her through what is going to be one of the most difficult, yet rewarding times in her life....motherhood. I would do my best to calm her fears, comfort her, and be there for her and her baby - period.
whateverhappens · 26-30, F
not have a teen daughter anymore ? or not have a grand kid.. somebody gotta go.. selfish yes but pretty sure id be looking too young to become a grandma..
Primnproper · 56-60, F
I'd be calm and I'd sit with her and ask if the father wishes to be included in any discussions we have, then ask her how she and the father of the baby feels about it.
SW-User
already been there, she's due around christmas.
dumpstermeow · 41-45, F
@SW-User grandpa hyggy 🙊
SW-User
@dumpstermeow papa seems to be the consensus will be my name when I asked a question about it here on the 13th
Big hugs and unconditional love and support.
CalmUnderThePalm · 31-35, M
Nothing. What's done is done.
Cstmc · 36-40, M
Call MTV, lets make that money
SW-User
Tell her I'm disappointed and ask why wasn't she careful
I don't have a daughter or son but I would be supportive. I have needed support from family and it was never there
Ramon67 · 61-69, M
It's happened . When she told me I was upset but I was supportive in helping her with expenses .
Thehobbit · 51-55, M
I would do my best to not show disappoint, but to hug her, and to tell her I love her.

Then help her through the next 9 months. And then.....spoil that kid rotten, feed them lots of candy, and send them home with noisy toys. Lol
BigBrother · 31-35, M
Daughter or step daughter, I would honestly be shocked but do what I can to help them.
getmeouttahere · 36-40, F
First I would tell her to go to her room and make her sit in there for an hour freaking out wondering how I'm going to react. But in the end I would be there for her, make sure she finishes school and all that. My sister in law had my nephew a month after graduating high school so I know how important it is to have support.
Some1Else · M
I'd ask who her Mother was and if there's a certified paternity test available!!!
My daughter will be 32 in December and can do whatever she wishes to.
Take her to the dr and see what our options are
I was very happy.Her father wasn't as happy.
Myzery · 41-45, F
I'd say, "You're no child of mine!" And then help the poor confused thing find her parents.
SW-User
I'd name her ShoeLace.
SW-User
You don't get to name your granddaughter! @SW-User
SW-User
@SW-User 😞
SW-User
having no kids, utter shock.
MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
Get that child support
SW-User
First I would wonder when I got a teen daughter. Then I would tell her I'm disappointed in her.
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
Something on your mind?
SW-User
I'm not pregnant. And I'm 25 😂@HoraceGreenley
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@SW-User just checking...
SW-User
"Son switching your sex verbally doesn't make you a woman nor does it allow you to get pregnant"
Thehobbit · 51-55, M
@SW-User lol good laugh.
TheOtakuNextDoor · 31-35, M
I DON'T HAVE A TEENAGE DAUGHTER. I'M 23. GET OUT.
EnigmaticGeek · 61-69, M
Honestly, I'd be happier than I am being childless.
JRVanguard · 26-30, M
Grab my gun and find the father
testbutton · 51-55, M
calm and supportive on the outside, freaking out like crazy on the inside.
metalicblack · 46-50, M
Lose my crap for about a week then figure out how to make it work
Some1Else · M
@metalicblack ✔❗❗
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
She made her bed.

Unless she was raped then we're going to do something about that rapist.
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 31-35, F
( in a universe where I had a teenage daughter )Shock, fear, disappointment, frustration. I'd tell her we'll talk about it in a bit. And call around about wtf I should say to her about that.
Kill the baby. I dont have time for 2 helpless genetic failures.
SW-User
@fdbgljkfsdbgkljfsdbgkljS I'm glad you don't have kids. :D
