Oh my gosh, I totally did that one time and it was so great. Got up very, very early, about 2:00 a.m. I guess, got ready and went down to the lake to fish. Oh, we thought we knew it all about fishing. We had visited the lake many times before and watched how they did it and even asked what bait they used and naturally, followed suit. We just knew we were going to bring in all the whoppers. And as we watch them, boy, were they bringing in the huge catfish, one right after the other, with no effort at all.
Yeah right. We tried that, and couldn't get a bite! Haha ... I guess it was TOO early. We figured they'd be super hungry in the morning and raring to go, but no. Total failure. Weren't even interested in looking at the bait. Hahaha The joke was on us!!
@2ndtimeguy Especially when you are retired and can go through the weekdays when the restaurants aren’t that crowded at breakfast time. You can take your time and relax.
