Road Trip update #4

Travel day from the big “D” to Corpus Christi TX. Had a fender bender in a construction zone in Austin. I got rear ended by a Lexus that took the most of the damage.

That can a really useful drive. We made the San Antonio to Corpus a few times, so totally boring.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 I agree it is boring but Dallas to San Antonio right now is a nightmare.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@SageWanderer I have a relative in Corpus.

Glad it was minor

Hope everyone is ok.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@calicuz Low speed so no injuries. Just upsetting.

I understand, it can put a cloud over a nice trip. Hope you feel better.

Glad you are all right
Musicman · 61-69, M
Glad it was only minor damage. Do you have the trailer with you this trip?
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@Musicman Considering the weather I left the pools have been relaxing just to immerse and relax.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@SageWanderer Good for you! How much longer will you be there?
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@Musicman Staying here a week, will head toward home next Monday.
swirlie · 31-35
How do you like the Buick?
swirlie · 31-35
@SageWanderer
I think old school maps are great! I still keep a bunch in the seat pocket for when I really need to see where I'm going!
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@swirlie There is so much road construction in the cities here in Texas that the GPS guidance isn’t accurate.

@SageWanderer
I subscribe to a GPS updating service which costs me $100 per year and it automatically updates if construction or a road closure suddenly happens, then it offers an alternate route. Invaluable tool and worth the price.
