I was in Cleveland for a Cavs game in Feb .

I'd like to visit Alaska
BillyMack · 46-50, M
@chernobylplaygr0unds been there once. It’s a tad chilly
@BillyMack It would be a beautiful place to visit
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
I would like to visit New England; particularly Salem in Massachusetts and the coast of Maine. My daughter keeps telling me to take the RV to Dewey Beach in Delaware, which is a special place for her.
@SageWanderer Delaware is nice and beautiful
@SageWanderer New England is beautiful in the fall.
averageguy · 46-50, M
In July go to the mountains. The beaches will be too hot

Drove thru Atlanta going to the airport today.
@Sojournersoul I am sure you were stuck on I-285 I was driving thru and it was backed up for miles
@Souls it was not bad this morning but still took an hour and a half to get there.

Alaska
See as much of all its nature as I could

Florida is always a treat.
@FemSteps I am actually considering it just have to find something to do out there.
SC and FL have nice beaches if you pick them right.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Probably NY, NYC in particular for the museums, etc.
lissah · 36-40, F
Ive been to every state except Alaska, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Washington DC
Musicman · 61-69, M
@lissah Which state did you like the best?
lissah · 36-40, F
@Musicman oh thats a hard decision. I live in Arkansas, so i, of course, i think it's the best. But i think West Virginia, Utah, and Arizona are very pretty.

THIS July 4th is the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation, so there should be some pretty gnarly celebrations going on in D.C.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@4meAndyou You just know with Trump in office there will be for sure. 🥳🥳🥳
July is a hot month. If you want to be out of doors as much as possible (and who doesn't) I recommend New England. There's Cape Cod for the ocean, and there are lakes galore all thru northern New England. Bugs can be a problem, of course.
@ElwoodBlues I never thought about New England, but I will look into it. I have been to Connecticut, but I am pushing more for the states above because I plan on driving instead of flying.
Hard to beat the beach and plenty in those states.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
But they are all still in America. There is your problem...😷
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@whowasthatmaskedman there’s about half a dozen states that don’t even feel like America : NY TX Alaska , etc..
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@AthrillatheHunt I might agree with you on Alaska......But even Washington state is still America..😷
As much as Americans see themselves as different to other Americans. (And I admit there are big differences) You really do have to get right out of America and see it from the outside to see how similar Americans really are..

If you live the beaches and key, I'd say Florida.

If you're travelling by car to NC and want a scenic hilly place, then try the blue ridge PKWY. It's lovely.

If you're traveeling to SC, then don't miss out the Myrtle Beach.
Musicman · 61-69, M
St Augustine is a really fun place to visit in Florida 🙂 Personally I would love to take the RV out west and see New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. Just spend a couple of months enjoying the sights. 🙂

Can't say that I'll be visiting the US again , until the orange baby has gone and had his last tantrum!

So unfortunately I can't help you
