uncomfortable bed. when I travel I leave for a few months so I travel cheap. no hot water is common in poor countries, thin walls suck but usually people are quiet, poor service doesnt bother me much because once theygive me my keys its over, I'm not there looking for a friend, I'm there to rest, which is why the uncomfortable bed can be a real issue.
Luckily I've never experienced #1 or #3. And the only "bad service" was the maids coming in when I had the Do Not Disturb sign up. I can live with that, lol. The walls, though...
typically the walls are always thin, the bed is always uncomfortable, the service is always poor. so it's annoying when i can't take the 30 minute hot shower that I look forward to.
I think thin walls, poor service is pretty standard in most hotels, uncomfortable bed and no hot water I can live with..... but constant noise from thin walls is a pain.
