What a horrid way to think, and unbelieveable they could say such a thing to someone who has been through what you have.

I wouldnt give much attention to that person. May be learned dogma or their brains reaction to something traumatic as the victim having power protects them from actualising it could happen to them or anyone really. Its just sad.
