My cousin writes about it to get it out of her system instead of holding it in, as recommended by her therapist.

It helps her a lot.

Maybe it wouldn't work for everyone but it works for her.

If you are able get therapy to work through it, you can't pretend it didn't happen it will resurface in other ways unfortunately. Time and therapy helps.
