But predatory men either search for, manipulate, or create opportunities to sexually assault others. So it's always good to watch out for yourself and give'em no quarter.
Generally manipulating others isn't new to people like that. They've treated other people as guinea pigs to test small manipulations and offenses against until they build up to worse and worse offenses.
They will watch to see if they think you have a personality or lack of strength against them and whatever tools/manpower they have that will let them leave with out serious injury or a prison sentence. They will also watch to see if bystanders will let them assault or harass or drug someone. They will always have a ready excuse for their behavior or try to gaslight you or blame you.
