Why does a Cockroach scare the hell out of me so much??

I am not scared of them. I think they are gross sure, but not scared. What they going to do?

They ugly and creepy and they move so fast and they can swarm too 🤢 Plus if you squish them they stink. They are the living turds of the insect world.

Anything that crawls faster than I can make it to an exit, worries me.

I'm not sure they're any dirtier than other bugs, but I think we've been raised to think of them as an indicator of a dirty, disease-ridden environment.
