Yeah i went through a phase like that. Comes after hardship or loss that you cant control.
Iv learned to become emotionless to certain things over time. Healthy? Probably not. Necessary, yes.

Tears held in can drown your heart. I was taught very young to never under any circumstances cry . That rule was hammered home.

The only time I wanted to and couldn't was in a manipulative way when I was a kid, forgot my travelcard and met ticket controllers.
Otherwise I have the exactly opposite problem. I don't want to tear up and can't stop it.
Yes, I should have but not one tear.
For me, that’s happened in extremely traumatic situations. Too much shock in the way. But the tears eventually did come, my body released them when it deemed the time was right.

ya its hard for me to cry sometimes even if I do get sad I think it may be my autism but I'm not for sure

Had a thumb that got infected years ago they had to give me a shot in the thumb told me not to pass out as he stuck the needle in asked if I could cry but nothing just pain!
