You're not alone. I scream and swear in my sleep. One time I howled super loud and scared the shit of my boyfriend. 😂
NotCassieeee · 26-30, F
@Queendragonfly I’ve woken him up screaming a few times too, and jumping 😂ðŸ˜

@NotCassieeee But my boyfriend is the same. He can box with his arms in his sleep. 😂

Those sound like night terrors. Normal for people with PTSD but that doesn't make it any easier. So sorry to hear that you are going through this. I'm not sure what would help but I find that meditating on something positive before sleep helps me a bit when I go through a rough patch.

@Justferfuun1 Yeah my cptsd ain’t getting any better 🥹

@NotCassieeee My ADHD brain lets me replace old memories with new memories constantly which helps during waking hours but I frequently remember a lot more when sleeping and never the good parts.

I also have complex ptsd, insomnia, severe depression, and if that isn't enough panic and anxiety disorder.
Night terrors are horrible. When stressed out they are the worst. I average 2 to 4 hours and weekends 5.

I did that treatment I told you about...I dont remember if I told you. So far no night terrors and my anxiety is so low I think something is wrong.

Have you always had them?
NotCassieeee · 26-30, F
@MyNameIsHurl more or less yeah, I have cptsd
itsok · 31-35, F
I had a really bad one last night. I wonder why some weeks/months it’s so much worse than others
NotCassieeee · 26-30, F
@itsok I’m sorry, and yeah I wonder the same 🥺

Last time I had a nightmare, I was in the worst place I had ever been in my life, physically. So why don't you talk about what's stressing you out during your waking hours, and that might give you a clue about your night terrors.
NotCassieeee · 26-30, F
@LordShadowfire It’s from my cptsd, but also the last months been hard
iamonfire696 · 36-40, F
I am sorry Cassie. I hope it starts to calm down for you.
