They want you to eat more of the crisps (chips). You're more likely to finish them off and buy more and get fat if you can't reseal them.

I buy clothes online and get them in these great little resealable bags that I feel so wrong about throwing away. but the tortilla chips I bought on Friday exploded out of the bag as it ripped down the middle.

I do know one person who neatly folds her underewear and stores them in their original packaging. But shes dead now and it was probably the tedium of her life that killed her. not the old age...
