I mean you’re just bitter and jealous.
When someone mentions Valentines Day you groan or get annoyed with it. Come on! Love is in the air! If someone is attracted to you or ask you out, GO FOR IT!
If that person you’re looking for has been right in front of you……WAKE UP! Especially you women!! If you have a guy or female friend that loves you, honest and trustworthy and finds you attractive, WAKE up and realize they’re the one for you! Even if you have known them for YEARS.
Stop running away from love or living in the past about your ex hurt you and TAKE A CHANCE!

On the one hand, yes, I’m single, bitter, and jealous. I have autism, and apparently I’m really bad at sending and receiving social cues. As a result, in the 37+ years I’ve lived so far, I’m pretty sure I’ve never been attracted to a woman or girl who was simultaneously attracted to me. I’m about convinced that it’s practically impossible for me to develop a mutual attraction at least until I go to therapy and learn the secret of social cues. So on Valentine’s Day every year I get to buy my mom flowers and candy, and I usually get some candy too, as exciting as that is.

On the other hand, if you’ve got a lover why not celebrate your love every day? Furthermore, people celebrate their marriage anniversaries, and increasingly I see a lot of unmarried couples celebrating the monthly anniversaries of the day they started dating. That’s a lot of money to spend, so I can definitely see why Valentine’s Day is unnecessary.
