If you are on Ozempic because you want to lose weight, you are an objectively inconsiderate person.

People like my dad have to wait for the supply to be replenished in order to be able to regulate their blood sugar properly, because you want to fit into your swimsuit. Maybe put down the cheesecake and go for a walk instead.

Not to be mean, but if your dad needs it to regulate his blood sugar....can't he do that with diet just like someone who wants to lose weight ?

My mum is almost wheel chair bound . She's 84, and she's already lost almost 50kg at the age of 70.
Now she's in a nursing home, she can't control how healthy the food is, and has put on weight since being there .

They just put her on something (I think it's this ), and she's finally losing what she gained since she went in to the home .
Which now means she can at least stand up again long enough to wash herself ,go to the toilet independently and dress herself .
It's given her back quality of life .

I get people shouldn't use it for vanities sake. But some are using it when they are already dieting and it's not working ...and they are at a health crisis.
Diabetes can be controlled by diet - it's just fucking hard . They are now getting evidence that correct diet can reduce diabetes to non detectable levels and get people off insulin and other medications .

Not that anyone should really be taking ozempic unless there's absolutely no other options - it fucks over so many of your bodies systems.
Many who start using can't stop. It screws with their metabolisms and it's a one way street .🤷
