@MartinII I suspect they mean "subjects" as opposed to "citizens".

@MartinII I was wondering that too!

I've never needed a gun, never wanted one.

In all the very many relatives, friends, work-mates and casual acquaintances I have known over the last half-century of adult life I can think of only two, apart from farmers, who have owned any fire-arms.

One goes clay-pigeon shooting. The other has a couple of antique guns he never fires apart from occasionally demonstrating the flintlock action (no charge in the breech, just a pinch of black powder in the firing-pan, creating literally "just a flash in the pan").
I really wanna live in a world where A. a total authoritative state where only the stassi have guns.
Or B. a world where only violent criminals have guns and the average police response time is 15-30 mins..

In no way do I wanna live in a world of accountability, self responsibility.

I’m way to stupid to think for myself.

Hail big brother

After 3 days and I just noticed I didn’t mean (I would want) I meant to say, well (I wouldn’t want) just the uncommoners armed. Sorry about that.
Just think about it hey that fellow over there can be armed because he has 6 fingers on one hand , that’s really uncommon I think, meanwhile everyone that only has 4 fingers and a thumb can’t be armed , that’s not very fair. 😂 @Repete
A responsibility requiring an uncommon measure of forbearance and respect for human life.
Most situations can be deescalated /the assailant subdued, without deadly force.

Retribution or an impulse to redeem one's honor must never enter the equation; ego and anger have no place.

Most lack the emotional maturity, and shrewd judgement to employ a firearm strictly as a last resort.
The tool you hope you'll never use, is not for defending honor; levelling the playing field; or having the last word in a petty dispute.

99% percent of which can be defused by simply walking away.

Law enforcement a credit to their shield, understand this. The precious few with the discernment and experience, to make the impossible choice.

its the attitude of arms are a tool to use conflicts is what makes the usa such an unsafe place. other countries have guns too.. and use them responsible.... but in the usa you have parents posing with their guns and their kids... and people brag about defending their home with a gun...
this attitude is despicable.
there wouldnt be any problem with guns if people would have a gun and shut up and dont even think about it other then hunting or whatever sports they do with it.
fetishizing guns as an expression of your character means you are exactly the reason why people go on murdersprees with guns.
