sad news--wife had stroke

Sadly, my wife of many years, who was already in poor health, just had a massive stroke. I sit with her in the hospital, but she does not wake up or respond, 8 days in now. Need hope...not knowing is so difficult. Thank you.

I am sorry for your loss. It is most severe to wait by the bedside of someone you love who has had a stroke. I feel for you. The world goes on in its way. You sit in silence, waiting. Waiting for a sign. Hoping something improves. Worrying. Lost. Alone. Vulnerable. Please take good care of you. This is so vital to carrying on. My thoughts are with you. I know things will never be the same for either of you again.

@Docdon23 You are most welcome. I am a health care professional as well as my ex- bf had a stroke years ago. I know what this feels like from both sides of the bed. Take care.
