When someone you like blocks you

Someone I really liked here blocked me today. This person brought me a lot of joy. They are really funny and when I am in pain which is all the time their posts made me laugh.

I was always active on their posts and they commented on one of my posts today and I went to go and comment back and I can’t.

I am just not good at this stuff. Hasn’t been the greatest day and that kinda made it worse 😢.

How do you deal with this?

If they comment-blocked you, it was probably something in your post that put them off. The thing is though that you're probably better off without them. Do you really wish to be close friends with someone who will drop you for posting something they did not appreciate? Sadly, people like that aren't reliable. If it were me, I would take comfort from that.

@TheGreatLeveler he commented on my post before this one and was supportive so I don’t know.

It is what it is though, I must have done something and I feel badly for that.

@TheGreatLeveler He is right, often when someone blocks you, it is a blessing in disguise. Though it is hard to feel that way at the time.

@iamonfire696 That's even worse, on their part. If you did something to offend them, the mature thing would have been to discuss it in private. Don't beat yourself up for the childish behavior of someone else.

@TheGreatLeveler that’s what I do though. I over analyze things and then beat myself up over it. I am trying to be better about it.
