When someone you like blocks you

Someone I really liked here blocked me today. This person brought me a lot of joy. They are really funny and when I am in pain which is all the time their posts made me laugh.

I was always active on their posts and they commented on one of my posts today and I went to go and comment back and I can’t.

I am just not good at this stuff. Hasn’t been the greatest day and that kinda made it worse 😢.

How do you deal with this?

This place is crowded with many past issues attacking them it is hard to imagine what might trigger anger or repulsion. Sometimes for me it is more hurtful when I am unfriended. It is like a demotion and causes me more consternation. I am sorry to hear that happened. It is obvious that the person have you some happy moments and that it was very unexpected.

I try and measure my commitment with others and make sure what I give is reciprocated at some level. I also keep boundaries for every relationship to avoid that unexpected “betrayal”. The amount of vulnerability I offer has decreased to acquaintances.

@Pfuzylogic it’s not even like there as any sort of relationship. His humour just made me laugh and I cherished that, probably too much.
