He has filed two lawsuits against her.

In addition to the one about "trauma", the other suit claims that by refusing to date him, she has "tarnished his stellar reputation!"
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@DrWatson And that the trauma has caused him to lose money in his career.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@JaggedLittlePill I am trying to imagine what in the world he is trying to achieve.

Consider the absurd scenario that as part of a settlement, she agrees to go on a date with him.

Does he then sue her for not smiling during the date? 🙄
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@DrWatson

He wants her to give in so this harrassment will stop. Total control and manipulation. He got her to go to therapy for a year ...so why not keep leagally beating her down?
She went for therapy? Was she dating him prior? @JaggedLittlePill
@DrWatson i think hes just fucked his own reputation over by doing this.
This does nothing but ridicule HIM.

No one will want to do buisness with him, no one will EVER want to go near him after this .
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@OogieBoogie What's amazing is that he does not seem to realize that!
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Vivaci Nope. She did this because she thought it might prevent the legal battle. I would like to know the ethical implications surrounding a therapist who went through with that.
@JaggedLittlePill Good point.

Not to mention - a year and a half!
They have been at therapy and the therapist hasn't fixed the issue.

Why in gods name hasnt the therapist turned round and told him its rejection ....its his issue....and that its only HIM that needs therapy?

Flipping therapist needs to be sued too !
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@JaggedLittlePill She agreed to therapy in the hopes that he would finally accept that she was not going to date him. So, she is now being sued precisely because she was trying to be considerate of him.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@DrWatson Yes. You worded that much better than myself.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@JaggedLittlePill I have my moments 😄

Then again, I have also stuck my foot in my mouth plenty of times here!
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@DrWatson
🤣

I think both of the things we added are true at the same time.
@DrWatson yeah. That's the scary part....he feels this is totally rational.

And shame on the therapist...
They are only making him more entitled.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@OogieBoogie I totally agree with you about the therapist. It makes little sense!

Like wtf did they talk about in those sessions?!
@JaggedLittlePill well, the fact that she had legal cause to get a restraining order shows how bad it got.
She could almost sue the therapist for mal practice.

It really sounds like this woman has been taken advantage of by both the stalker AND the therapist.
