Your gift is REJECTED!??

If you wanted to present a simple casual gift for someone (love , friend,family, ...etc) and they rejected it for being so simple and cheap.
What will you do? Please be honest and feel you are in this situation.

That's happened to me before with a family member when I bought her a tablet. It wasn't cheap though; the brat just wanted the most expensive model. She ended up breaking it and asking me to buy her another one. I didn't, and I haven't bought her a thing since then. I keep quiet and I remember it.
