Well, I was going to come out from under my rock today, but...

I imagine the traffic is going to be bad. I won't find a parking spot. The mall will be crowded. I won't find the clothes I'm looking for. I will feel like poo in the fitting room looking at myself in the mirror. I will be nervous with the people who work at the store. PEOPLE WILL BE WATCHING ME!!!! people will be judging me. :( It is easier to just stay inside in my comfortable bubble.

Next time take a chance and keep score; I bet some of those things won't be as bad as you predicted and maybe some good surprises will happen.
@Offthetop: yeah i was thinking, maybe i should prove myself wrong. i think i'll have something to eat, and then have an adventure!!!

@AliceinWonderland: yes and please let me know how that goes.
@Offthetop: everything was fine, "off the top". i'm glad i did it. :)

But even if all that happened, even if any and every negative expectation turned out to be true (unlikely), you'd still have a reason to feel good: you tried to burst your bubble.

So if it's not too late already, consider giving it a go. ;)

@AliceinWonderland: No, of course not. But you could show us the dress. I also don't like to post pics of myself on here.
