Lol I've heard about that but never really witnessed it, that boys get meaner with you when they like you.

@Aidolovemostofyourthoughts: Some girls do it too. A friend of mine was the apple in the eye of a girl named Maddie Bender. She always complained to him that he was so annoying and she hated when they got put in the same group for group work in classes. But in the bathroom, someone had written on the wall "Guys who you think are cute" and different people would anonymously write names. I saw Maddie writing his name on the wall in the bathroom.

@BlueMetalChick: How interesting. Why would they be embarrassed of acknowledging they like this person?

@Aidolovemostofyourthoughts: I dunno. I think maybe it has to do with fear of rejection, or maybe pride. As an asexual with no capacity for romantic attraction to others, I've never experienced it myself. It's interesting though.
