Is wearing fake glasses weird?

I currently wear very real glasses but I plan to get contacts sooner than later. I think glasses can serve a fashion purpose as well as a medical one, so I think once I get contacts I might keep a pair or two of fake glasses to fit an outfit or something. I used to think that fake glasses were really stupid and it was unfair towards people who actually need glasses, but now my opinion's drastically changed. I dunno.

No, it's not weird. I wear glasses, (bifocals lol), and I think it's great that finally there are lots of frames to choose from. 😍

I was prescribed bifocals and they sucked, but then I went to a different eye doctor and they gave me a much better prescription (that didn't involve bifocals). 😁 I was not about to wear bifocals at 16.

@Killers: I can't blame you. I'm 51, so I do lol. Both my parents did too. It was hard adjusting to them at first lol. I'm glad you have the right prescription now.

I wear contacts but I also keep a fake glasses because I needed it when I'm riding a bike. Plus it's good to have backups

Where your real glasses when they go south your outfit, if you wear contacts you still need to have a pair of glasses as backups anyway

You can't wear contacts and real glasses at the same time. Then you wouldn't be able to see.
