Sex/gender identity won't be the deciding factor in any of my relationships, romantic or otherwise. I'm not attracted to people, really, until we're intimately involved. I think the new name for it is "demisexual," although, looking at the Wikipedia definition I can add that in no way do I have a low libido or a lack of romantic attraction. I have a pretty high sex-drive, "for a woman," I guess, and I've had plenty of crushes. While I don't get a rush from looking at body parts or seeing someone attempt to fit a certain image, I do appreciate other physical characteristics/habits, like good hygiene, the way a person commands their body, the way they speak, etc., things that can't be noticed in just one glance. I can see someone and think about sex (since just about everything in this culture is sexualized), and not feel aroused by it. So, in short, "both."

I love animals and food, too. :D And music. And sunshine.
