It's weird to think...

How we are living in the very beginning years of a whole new millennium. I was 18 when it began, in 2000. And I was thinking, imagine the people on earth back in the year 1000 😮🤔. What were they going through each day? Did they have just tough, arduous days or did they dream of new beginnings?

I wonder how they dressed and what they all looked like. It would be really neat if they could have had a glimpse into our world..of Cars, planes, medicine, malls, and cell phones. I also wonder can you imagine us taking a glimpse into 3000? If the world can last until then? I actually can't imagine what life might look like then.

I feel blessed that I entered the new millennium as a young adult. I celebrated on New Years 2000. I realized I would not see 2100. I feel some sadness for those who never see the turning of a new century. So many have not. I hope to see Halley’s Comet again. It will arrive when I’m in my mid 80s. That’s my longevity goal.

@Muthafukajones I agree, we are lucky to not only see the turn of a new century , with the year 2000, but also a whole millennium!

I always like wondering about this sort of stuff. Like what people or aspects of our lives will still be relevant in 500 to 1000 years? Like who alive today will be the Shakespeare of 3000

@caPnAhab Right and will the earth last another 500-1000 years as well. I like that, who today, will be the Shakespeare people study in 3000? 🤔📚🎭🙂

Sometimes I actually think about that exact stuff. 🤷‍♂ It's just how I am wired.

@Musicman It's so interesting to ponder people so so so many years ago. 🙂

@Baybreeze Yes it is. And if you went back in time what if anything would you share with them? After all you don't want to mess with the timeline.
