Not necessarily awkward(most of the time), but I'm pretty selectively social.

If I don't jive with them I kind of operate like they're not there. I don't try to force myself to associate closely with people I know just aren't for me and I don't expect them to attempt it for me either, but I definitely keep it cute and civil. 🤷🏾

I have anxiety, so I usually feel awkward, but even more so if I cannot respect the people I am around.

I feel awkward towards myself.

I get distinct vibes about people: liking, loathing, annoyed, intrigued etc.

I just hate being around people i dont respect.

Around people I feel like I should maintain at least basic polite interaction but I have zero interest to do so. Especially neighbours, coworkers, people who recognize me on some level but we are not close. I just wish I could completely ignore them like strangers.

I don't, until I realize I'm being judged. People make me uncomfortable when they decide we're too different to get along.

Like feeling their energy or the underlying beyond the surface? With some indeed.. Sometimes it's an irritation or annoyance with their personality / behavior.

I'm not a people person. It's not always a gift to read the room. 🫣
