How I’m feeling this evening

I can’t seem to shake this feeling of loneliness lately. The strange thing is, I know my life is in a much better place and I don’t have any major problems to worry about, but I still feel empty and out of place. I think sometimes loneliness isn’t about being alone—it’s about not feeling connected, understood, or like you truly belong somewhere. I’m grateful for what I have, but I still find myself wanting something deeper: connection, purpose, companionship, and a reason to feel excited about life again. Maybe I’m not unhappy with my life as much as I’m still trying to figure out where I fit into it.

Beautifully written. It speaks to me as in I feel I can relate to what you said, it's not about being alone but not feeling connected, understood, or like you belong somewhere. Yeah, that. But I struggle with being vulnerable even more, so I isolate a lot. Yep. Thanks for writing this. I enjoyed it.
Maybe you need a new purpose ?

@OogieBoogie Yeah, I think you might be right. I’ve spent a lot of time just trying to survive and rebuild my life, and now that things are more stable, I’m realizing I don’t really know what I’m working toward anymore. Maybe finding a new purpose is part of what I’m missing.
