Kindness is a quiet kind of strength. It may not make the most noise, but it can leave the deepest mark on a heart. ❤

I agree. People need to start being kinder. This world is cruel enough.

I strongly believe in kindness. And sometimes I get teary eyed when someone is kind to me when I really need it

I agree with you, generally.
Unfortunately there are some that don't understand the language of kindness and you have to be able to speak their language to be heard.
But you're right, I think. How good it would be if we were nice and kind to each other.
You figure it shouldn't be such a hard thing to do..

@TheHammer I do agree with you. I know exactly Here, sometimes human life seems to have so little value someone gets angry over something small and suddenly a pistol can come out.
I actually don’t watch the news because it affects my mind too much. And honestly, we see enough of these things happening around us in our own lives.
But I’m also speaking from a mother’s point of view when I talk to my son. If something ever happened to my child because of his anger or because he reacted badly, it would hurt me deeply. He has quite a temper, so I keep giving him my little lecture about choosing calmness and kindness. And yes my son would probably say exactly what you just said
But anyway, I only make posts like this when they come from what I genuinely see around me. I’m not pretending we live in a perfect world. I know we don’t. I just believe that if we can choose kindness where we can, we should.

I choose to be kind;
not because the world deserves it,
but because I want to remain
the kind of person my heart can live with.

I just had a thought to write something about kindness, then 3 seconds later I scroll down to find this post. It's very nice, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

It’s sad really, kind acts seem so rare that they’re unexpected. The world has become a dark place, there’s not enough kindness in it.
masterofyou · 80-89, M
Being kind and respectful to others is the only way. Lead the way for others to be kind too.... It's all part of practicing love ❤

There’s a lot of hostility in the world right now, if you can respond with kindness 🙏
