Kind such a small word, yet such a powerful one.❤

Sadly, for some people, this word seems to be missing from their lives. They believe that anger, harshness, or rudeness is the way to make others listen and get their way.
But kindness has a different kind of strength.
A kind word can calm a hurting heart
A little patience can change someone’s entire day
And sometimes, a gentle way of speaking can reach a person in a place where anger never could.
There are so many people who quietly need kindness more than we may ever know.
So if you have a choice between being harsh and being kind, choose kindness.
It costs so little, but it can mean everything to someone.

I strongly believe in kindness. And sometimes I get teary eyed when someone is kind to me when I really need it

I agree with you, generally.
Unfortunately there are some that don't understand the language of kindness and you have to be able to speak their language to be heard.
But you're right, I think. How good it would be if we were nice and kind to each other.
You figure it shouldn't be such a hard thing to do..

@TheHammer I do agree with you. I know exactly Here, sometimes human life seems to have so little value someone gets angry over something small and suddenly a pistol can come out.

I actually don’t watch the news because it affects my mind too much. And honestly, we see enough of these things happening around us in our own lives.

But I’m also speaking from a mother’s point of view when I talk to my son. If something ever happened to my child because of his anger or because he reacted badly, it would hurt me deeply. He has quite a temper, so I keep giving him my little lecture about choosing calmness and kindness. And yes my son would probably say exactly what you just said

But anyway, I only make posts like this when they come from what I genuinely see around me. I’m not pretending we live in a perfect world. I know we don’t. I just believe that if we can choose kindness where we can, we should.

@Ann99
I understand.
I'm sure One day, when we are more evolved, it will be that way.

Kindness is a quiet kind of strength. It may not make the most noise, but it can leave the deepest mark on a heart. ❤

@Explorer Absolutely 🤍

Maybe with the right person, usually a pistol whip to the face leaves a deeper mark.

@Lilnonames yes 😊
