It's the treadmill of unhapiness.

I couldn’t agree more. Lately, I’ve been feeling that health is one of the greatest blessings we tend to take for granted. When your health is good, the simplest things like peace, a normal day, being able to move freely, enjoy a meal, laugh, and spend time with the people you love, feel so precious.
Maybe happiness isn’t always about having more, but about being grateful for what we already have. There is so much beauty in the ordinary when we stop and truly appreciate it.

@Bleak as I get older I have chosen to make my world smaller and just be grateful for the few in my life that have shown up in a consistent way ...

Right now I’m enjoying a coffee beneath a clear blue sky as the sun rises higher into the air.
It’s 61 degrees out and warming.
The sun is hitting my left eye as I type .
It’s quiet save for the occasional car rolling by and the sounds of birds somewhere off in the distance.
There’s a squirrel just behind me at the base of a tree jumping around and chittering.
The grass is shining with its tiny sheen of dewdrops from the overnight hours.
It’s very peaceful and I’m grateful for the moment.

I am very satisfied, I just am not healthy enough to enjoy what I have, hopefully my health will improve

Contentment is the key to life. It's the happy middle ground and you it comes from within.
Not having what you want but wanting what you have. 🙂

There are ambiguous minds; I consider myself changeable. It's not that I don't appreciate it, it's just that it becomes less fun for me; I need new variations, even though I tend to be quite conventional and even old-fashionedgirly.

Agreed. It’s really no life at all. 🥺
