Waking up, realizing I have no work, no urgent tasks, I can take my time.

Love a good thunderstorm. My favourite weather pattern

@Longpatrol Thanks for BC!
waking up knowing my preprogrammed coffee machine ground the beans and made me coffee so i don't have to do it...then pouring a cup while my cat weaves in and out throughout my legs knowing she loves me....wait, she wants food. but then she hops up on the couch with me as we watch the news
@beermeplease That’s cute. I get you -I have two cats and this morning when I came in the kitchen for my coffee they were starving. They act like they haven’t had food in years. But then they were also friendly and sweet.

Riding my bicycle out on the Mojave desert under the stars.

@InterdimensionalSideEye It's just a feeling that you get out there. The Mojave is strange. I grew up there. I've worked at remote mine sites. One mine lost a scraper opperater because he said a light came across the dry lake bed he was working on and flew around the pit then hung in the air right in front of his wind shield. No sound I guess it was about the size of a Mini Cooper or one of those small Fiats. He quit the next day. Another time at the mill site 20 miles away the site manager and the electrician were out working on something at night after everyone had left. The feed belt to the roller mill just came on by itself. The electrician had to go throw a breaker to stop it. Then the feed belt next door in the impact mill building came on. It was shut down for the night as well. There was no reason for it to come on by itself. He had to trip the breaker for that too.
@Munumbis that’s very interesting, what do you think it is?
Munumbis · 46-50, M
@InterdimensionalSideEye I lived there a long time. I'll say that parallel universes are real and people know how to go from one to the other.
One of the best feelings is waking up and seeing bright sunlight on fresh snow.. and you get to see the glittering surface.
@CookieCrumbs it sounds so magical. I imagine the snow crunches and there is a feeling of quiet?
@InterdimensionalSideEye
That’s the best part — the stillness, the quiet, and just seeing white clears your head. I hope one day you get to experience that too. 😊
@CookieCrumbs Thank you, me too❤

And then you look at the window and see the lightening 🙂‍↕
@Elessar that’s crazy. Here it’s getting drier all the time
Elessar · 31-35, M
@InterdimensionalSideEye Where are you?
@Elessar South Africa

Working during a thunderstorm at 12pm because I don't want to wake up at 4am.
Sitting on the beach watching a sunrise or a sunset.

Waking up after a snowstorm, opening the door and seeing a winter wonderland.

Watching dogs playing at the dog park.
@dragonfly46 oh my god I miss the beach so much. Nice answer, thank you.

boo storms at 4 am. fuck that. rsin ahh ok thunder no thanks
496sbc · 41-45, M
@InterdimensionalSideEye you have to wear something on your eyes or you will damage your retina and cornea and then you will have such severe blindess you won’t ever see again
@496sbc yeah I know. I generally look at the sculptures as a whole not the specific place being welded. But I have looked at the actual welds through his spare helmet. Next year we’re going to do actual lessons. I think it’s a skill everyone should have.

Waking up to the moon completely visible through the second story loft window. Such a peaceful calm.
@LadyBronte aaah yes. That’s a lovely image.

That’s wonderful. Hopefully a couple hours left until you have to move.

Mine is when the house has finally quieted down. No one else around. I can just breathe and stare for a moment.
@SpectralMourning Thanks. Yours is one of mine too. It’s comforting knowing everyone is safe and it’s still, some of my best thinking times. Totally relatable.

Sorry i woke you up
@GoFish it’s all right, I don’t mind☺
