What a week

The three of you who read these will remember (assuming anyone actually remembers the contents of previous ones) my nana died on Monday and ger memorial service was on Friday. It's Sunday now and things have calmed down a bit, but I'm still on edge after it all. And on top of all of that the store was crazy busy both yesterday and today, and since it's just me working it's been a lot. It got bad enough on Saturday that Jackson had to step in to help while he was there as well because so many people were there doing stuff. I also bought a fair few models between grief, impulse control issues, and my end-of-financial-year bonus, and got something like 35 models built (or partially built in the case of my two Contemptor Dreadnoughts, ready for their resin upgrade bodies). I also decided I'm going to go to the cinema on Tuesday to see the Odyssey- it's not the bronze age epic I want, but the story is from the Greek archaic and classical ages anyway so it makes more sense to copy that aesthetic.
