I honestly don’t know a single person who is loved by literally everyone.

Think about it, some of the absolute best people out there are widely disliked, while some of the worst, most toxic people are somehow highly regarded. It makes no sense, but that’s how it is.

I think all of us have been the best friend, the bad friend, and the person sitting alone feeling like they have no friends at all. We’ve been the good guy and the bad guy. We’ve had our hearts completely broken, and we’ve broken hearts too.

So I guess, just do your best. Love hard. Fall down, brush yourself off, and keep moving. Just live.

My philosophy is, if you're not pissing someone off, you're not doing something right. It's not realistic to think you'll always see eye to eye and agree with everyone. But if someone is really feeling threatened then they must see some truth in what you say and do, and they probably don't like it.

So true. I learned that the hard way. I used to be such a people pleaser and it cost me a lot, but I eventually realize you can't satisfy everyone and keep your peace.

On some subconscious level, people will believe whatever you tell them of yourself. Both good and bad. People will give you what they are, not what you deserve. Just externalising their internal. That can be both a good and bad thing

Spot on! It’s crazy how much people just spill their own inner world onto everyone else. Once you realize it's all just projection, you stop taking it personally. This is such a good reminder, esp for me.

The world is messed up and cruel. I try my best to make it a little less painful. That alone will annoy people. Unfortunately we live in a world where someone would find a thing to dislike and hate you about, even if it's irrational
