Your feelings about this answer to why DEI doesn't work

"I get it, it comes up in my management and education degrees. Systems create cycles of executive function -and parameters within the habits, understandings etc to serve the premises of those executive functions- to replicate those same systems. Including ideological systems, which become compounded when those ideological systems are created to justify the closed systems of ignorance inherent to the limits of your cognitive systems."

Is it just me, or is this a word salad to obscure meaning. Or am I just dumb?

DEI and capitalism are opposing concepts. It's why capitalism is so wrong.

Remove capitalism from the work place DEI will work just fine.

Humans are social. Please let humans be what they are. Not robots or aliens.
justbob · 61-69, M
@DeWayfarer Remove the capitalism and everyone will live in relative poverty.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@justbob There has NEVER BEEN a socialistic society since the caveman era.

We evolved just fine with socialism. In fact we wouldn't have survived with out it.
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer "humans aren't robots"..."so let's enact socialism over a country with tens of millions of people, controlled by such a small handful of people that all those tens of millions of people cannot be understood by that system to be anymore than just a number, as it doesn't have the capacity to see them as any more".
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Therealsteve What you describe isn't socialism either though! Nor how it was practiced as caveman.
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer I'm the one with the management and education degrees that OP is talking about, by the way. And time and time again, the contents of both degrees raised points counter to socialism. However, those points won't fit your biases (something that came up in the degree, by the way), and so you'll call it a "word salad" or boil it all down to some reducto ad absurdum to support what you already want to think.
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer Describe "socialism", then.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Therealsteve For one even hundreds in a group would have been far too much. Yet look at any anthropology text for more.
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer Your description of socialism, please.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Therealsteve Not going down that road. It's far too much. And you're a doubter anyway. So it's pointless.
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer "capitalism is wrong...no, I won't describe the system I think works better". Naturally.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Therealsteve Capitalism is a self indulgent perspective itself. Even Plato only wanted the wealthy in his utopian Republic. And that is the basic orgins of capitalism.
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer me: "describe your idea of socialism please".

you: "capitalism is x. Look at plato from 48BC! Don't expect me to detail how a different system would work in 2026".

Well....done?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Therealsteve You want a book! I suggest you look one up and read it!

It's pointless to even argue this.

Plato was born around 428-427 BCE and died around 348-347 BCE. Not 48 BC or not more factual 48 BCE.
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
"It's pointless to even argue this.". I know, because you capitalism is bad people tend to not have a working alternative to argue with in response. It was just more "capitalism is bad". It's genuinely the worst kind of people who focus on the faults of other people's success when they are unable to create much of value themselves.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Therealsteve I told you already. You don't want any answer even. You want to argue! That is pointless! Think for yourself and read at least!
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer No, I've asked you several times, "describe socialism". You argue from intent in place of having an argument or description.

Describe "socialism" please.

Then I'll have something directly related to fulfil your request of having me "read".
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Therealsteve And told you several times no! Go elsewhere!

𝓗𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓪 𝓰𝓸𝓸𝓭 𝓭𝓪𝔂! 😊
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer So, you don't have a viable alternative, as you don't know how to create value. Got it.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Therealsteve I am not replying to you!

Go elsewhere!

𝓗𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓪 𝓰𝓸𝓸𝓭 𝓭𝓪𝔂! 😊
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer Well of course not, because you don't have a viable system that create values for you to describe.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Therealsteve Guy I will defend my comments

ENDLESSLY

So go elsewhere

𝓗𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓪 𝓰𝓸𝓸𝓭 𝓭𝓪𝔂! 😊
Therealsteve · 31-35, M
@DeWayfarer defending socialism would require you describing socialism.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
