what do you let influence you? popular media? your peers? society? books? your teachers?

the world is full of influence and influencers.. and we are the product of our society and outside influences.. our thoughts are only a percent ours and the rest is second hand information or less the further you get from a source the more unreliable it is and some people are outright liars with agendas.. do you really know where your thoughts came from and who gave them to you? do you really think for yourself?

i try to think back at what my parents always taught me when i was growing up...it made sense what they ever tried to instill in me...i am forever grateful for that.
