What were your childhood aspirations and dreams? Can you even remember, or were they even then perceived as something approaching unaccomplishable.

Mostly just arts and crafts projects. Some of those I tried, some I gave up on, some only made sense in connection to a specific child play I had. I don't have kids and neither work as an art teacher so getting back to those doesn't make any sense to me now.

@CrazyMusicLover Why not try taking up a craft or art more deeply, as a hobby? Then it will make sense.

It does not need to re-open the play-related subjects, of course.

@ArishMell I'm trying it with watercolor but I realized that I order to enjoy it I need to reserve special time for it and it's not easy for me. I know it's a bad habit but I'm afraid of messing it up if I make just quick jumps between work and chores to paint. Even if it would be more practical because that way a layer will dry, I can do other things in the meantime and then return to it again to do some other part. But that is quite chaotic for me.

@CrazyMusicLover I know it can be awkward trying to juggle a hobby and necessities!

Actually, working on the painting episodically as you describe, is not chaotic at all, but well-orgnaised because as you say, it allows each section to dry properly.
