What's holding you back from having the life you'd like to have? Are you open to change? Does everything really have to be perfect?
Do you know that if you were not able to have closure on something that was important to you, that you can make your own closure?
Closure often comes from within. Instead of waiting for someone else to provide it, you have the power to create your own closure by accepting what happened, learning from it, and choosing to move forward. It's about finding peace with the situation and deciding that you're done investing emotional energy into something you can't change. Sometimes, finding peace and joy is about changing what we can, and what we can't, leave the rest up to God. He's got your back.
We have a God who is available to us 24/7 and loves us more than words could ever express. His love is perfect in that way. And perfect love casts out all fear. It's okay to feel stuck or afraid, but know that God's love is bigger than your fears. He's not asking you to take a leap of faith without being with you. He's holding your hand every step of the way. You don't have to have it all figured out. Just take one small step towards Him, and let Him guide you from there. He's faithful and His love for you is unwavering, unconditional, and everlasting. There's never a time when he's not thinking of what he can do to help you improve your life, so that you'll be happy. He always has your best interest at heart. Our part is simply to accept his invitation to allow him to love you and help you.
Remember, God's love is always just a prayer away, and I hope these thoughts today bring comfort and guidance to you. You don't have to be perfect. You just have to be willing to let him help you, as he wants to. He is a God of new beginnings, hope, and a better future.
1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
This is a great season to make a new commitment to take better care of yourself by loving and respecting yourself. Remembering that you deserve to be happy. There's not one thing that is too big for God to handle.

I want to be honest: I have read and been lectured on these verses my whole life, and I am still anxious. Perhaps, we all have a thorn, like apostle Paul, and mine is anxiety; I don't know that for sure, of course. I am not accusing you of lecturing me; it's just that, for some reason, I stay anxious through everything, and yes, I pray daily. God declares He works through weakness, too.
@Justmeraeagain I love your honesty, and you're certainly genuine and have obviously thought these things through. Anxiety is very super real, and all people, no matter who they may be, can be exposed to anxiety. I applaud your courage and bravery in facing this challenge head-on, instead of burying your head about it. We can only meet these challenges and work on them, when we acknowledge and face them head on. I'm amazed at your courage and determination, in the face of a situation that can be very daunting, indeed. That's a commendable start, right there, if someone can just get to that point, and that's not an easy feat! So, I really admire you for that. It sure takes a lot of courage to face these type things.
Society is finally waking up to a crucial truth: it's okay not to be okay. We don't have to have all the answers, and mental challenges are nothing to be ashamed of. Many of us have faced anxiety or depression in some form, and it's time we acknowledge that it's okay to ask for help. Life will always be full of challenges, and they're nothing to be ashamed of. When we find ourselves feeling lost and alone, that's just God trying to help us understand that something in our lives isn't working and needs changing.
As someone who has navigated anxiety and its challenges, I've learned valuable lessons throughout my life, that I'll be sharing with SW in a post. I've discovered effective strategies for overcoming hopelessness, and finding victory. I'm excited to share what continues to work for me, in hopes it might help others.
To be clear, I'm not for preaching or proselytization – I wouldn't want to be preached at, either. My goal is to simply share subjects that are on my heart that have worked for me, in hopes they might be of help to others. As I mentioned, in a future post, I'll share 3 keys that have worked for my success, in whatever life throws at me. Specifically, regarding anxiety.
@Justmeraeagain I've read Jesus say "Don't be worried about tomorrow for tomorrow will have enough worries of it's own". There is one thing reading about it, and another thing trying it on for size, applying it to your own heart, exercising the truth as your own... You know what I mean? That is when it soothes the soul like a good medicine...It's when we apply Gods truths not just read about them or be lectured about them...Once you apply one thing then you can plug into another thing of the spirit, and another, and another, like when you have a heavy heart put on the garment of praise!! Don't just praise, praise from the heart, praise in the truths about God that you know are true, Lift up your hands and worship and you'll find that Loving God is better than fine wine!! He can lift your spirits like the wings of Eagles and you can fly! Live in Love and by Faith towards God and you'll see your on a great adventure and at peace and happier!! Forgiveness is a practice that comes from choosing to forgive repeatedly, until you're free! Jesus is the vine and we are the branches we cannot do anything apart from the vine! Get plugged in instead of just reading over.... You know what I mean?? God bless I hope this helps, it helped me when I finally got it!! And I love it!!!
