What's holding you back from having the life you'd like to have? Are you open to change? Does everything really have to be perfect?

Do you know that if you were not able to have closure on something that was important to you, that you can make your own closure?

Closure often comes from within. Instead of waiting for someone else to provide it, you have the power to create your own closure by accepting what happened, learning from it, and choosing to move forward. It's about finding peace with the situation and deciding that you're done investing emotional energy into something you can't change. Sometimes, finding peace and joy is about changing what we can, and what we can't, leave the rest up to God. He's got your back.

We have a God who is available to us 24/7 and loves us more than words could ever express. His love is perfect in that way. And perfect love casts out all fear. It's okay to feel stuck or afraid, but know that God's love is bigger than your fears. He's not asking you to take a leap of faith without being with you. He's holding your hand every step of the way. You don't have to have it all figured out. Just take one small step towards Him, and let Him guide you from there. He's faithful and His love for you is unwavering, unconditional, and everlasting. There's never a time when he's not thinking of what he can do to help you improve your life, so that you'll be happy. He always has your best interest at heart. Our part is simply to accept his invitation to allow him to love you and help you.

Remember, God's love is always just a prayer away, and I hope these thoughts today bring comfort and guidance to you. You don't have to be perfect. You just have to be willing to let him help you, as he wants to. He is a God of new beginnings, hope, and a better future.

1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

This is a great season to make a new commitment to take better care of yourself by loving and respecting yourself. Remembering that you deserve to be happy. There's not one thing that is too big for God to handle.

I want to be honest: I have read and been lectured on these verses my whole life, and I am still anxious.
Perhaps, we all have a thorn, like apostle Paul, and mine is anxiety; I don't know that for sure, of course.
I am not accusing you of lecturing me; it's just that, for some reason, I stay anxious through everything, and yes, I pray daily.
God declares He works through weakness, too.
@Justmeraeagain I love your honesty, and you're certainly genuine and have obviously thought these things through. Anxiety is very super real, and all people, no matter who they may be, can be exposed to anxiety. I applaud your courage and bravery in facing this challenge head-on, instead of burying your head about it. We can only meet these challenges and work on them, when we acknowledge and face them head on. I'm amazed at your courage and determination, in the face of a situation that can be very daunting, indeed. That's a commendable start, right there, if someone can just get to that point, and that's not an easy feat! So, I really admire you for that. It sure takes a lot of courage to face these type things.

Society is finally waking up to a crucial truth: it's okay not to be okay. We don't have to have all the answers, and mental challenges are nothing to be ashamed of. Many of us have faced anxiety or depression in some form, and it's time we acknowledge that it's okay to ask for help. Life will always be full of challenges, and they're nothing to be ashamed of. When we find ourselves feeling lost and alone, that's just God trying to help us understand that something in our lives isn't working and needs changing.

As someone who has navigated anxiety and its challenges, I've learned valuable lessons throughout my life, that I'll be sharing with SW in a post. I've discovered effective strategies for overcoming hopelessness, and finding victory. I'm excited to share what continues to work for me, in hopes it might help others.

To be clear, I'm not for preaching or proselytization – I wouldn't want to be preached at, either. My goal is to simply share subjects that are on my heart that have worked for me, in hopes they might be of help to others. As I mentioned, in a future post, I'll share 3 keys that have worked for my success, in whatever life throws at me. Specifically, regarding anxiety.

@Justmeraeagain I've read Jesus say "Don't be worried about tomorrow for tomorrow will have enough worries of it's own". There is one thing reading about it, and another thing trying it on for size, applying it to your own heart, exercising the truth as your own... You know what I mean? That is when it soothes the soul like a good medicine...It's when we apply Gods truths not just read about them or be lectured about them...Once you apply one thing then you can plug into another thing of the spirit, and another, and another, like when you have a heavy heart put on the garment of praise!! Don't just praise, praise from the heart, praise in the truths about God that you know are true, Lift up your hands and worship and you'll find that Loving God is better than fine wine!! He can lift your spirits like the wings of Eagles and you can fly! Live in Love and by Faith towards God and you'll see your on a great adventure and at peace and happier!! Forgiveness is a practice that comes from choosing to forgive repeatedly, until you're free! Jesus is the vine and we are the branches we cannot do anything apart from the vine! Get plugged in instead of just reading over.... You know what I mean?? God bless I hope this helps, it helped me when I finally got it!! And I love it!!!

@saintsong Thank you, it really has given me something to think on.
@myfaithischristian You're missing the point. We understand, but it's important to remember that when we watch videos on witchcraft, we are actually inviting negativity and demonic influences into our lives. We are not entertain these influences by watching this type programming. Just saying we have to all be careful of this. God warns about it in his word for us to be careful of it. Satan tries to influence us by these videos and books and cards, all those type things so we stay away from those things completely. They can backfire on us. Curiosity can lead to full-blown obsession since it is interesting, so this is where we have to be very careful and not even have these things around, as Satan will use them to influence us and tempt us to try them. That's the danger.

I agree with this, I just follow my path, what will be will be.

The Universe will literally sit you down and break you to humble you, then will isolate you to build you.
Then give you back everything 10x to prove to you how powerful you are, and that everything is happening for a reason. Trust yourself, the Universe, and your path.
@Achelois I think maybe you might have missed some of what I included in my message. Not sure. I added more to my post, just in case you want to take a peek. 😃👍

@LadyGrace

I’ve get it, I’ve been through so much change the past few years, life isn’t perfect, we need the dark times to appreciate the good times, I found a lot of closure during my healing ❤‍🩹
@Achelois I don't trust the universe. But, I do trust God.
Well right now not being on the same page with my husband. But I do not have to worry because if anything i get too old to have kids I can try to adopt.
@Girlyfriendcollecting I applaud you! 🫂👍🙏❤
How sweet you are to being open to other options. What a beautiful and exciting thought, that you definitely can try to adopt! You are so selfless and have such a beautiful heart, to explore this blessed opportunity. What a great mom you will make, should you decide to make that choice!

The beautiful and amazing thing about adopting a baby is the opportunity to provide a loving, stable, and nurturing home to a child in need. Adoption allows individuals or families to open their hearts and homes, giving a child a chance to thrive and grow in a supportive environment. It's a selfless act that brings joy not only to the child but also to the adoptive family, creating lifelong bonds and memories. Adoption is a remarkable way to build a family and make a lasting, positive impact on a child's life, as well as your own.
@LadyGrace thank you. I love your support. 🥰❤

Hateful and bigoted Christians? You must have gone to the wrong church. I've not once experienced that in a Christian Church, but I'm sorry you have. I would never say that about your choice of denomination. I believe your remark "hateful and bigoted" has been used against different people of different faiths across the world, for any denomination, but that is not promoting love, as we should promote to all people, but rather dissension, prejudiced, and negativity.

I understand that you may have had negative experiences with some Christians, and I'm sorry if you've been hurt. However, I want to point out that one person's actions do not represent an entire group. I see that you're aware of the distinction between Islamic terrorists and followers of Islam. Similarly, not all Christians are hateful or bigoted. Let's focus on promoting understanding, love, and respect, rather than perpetuating stereotypes.

@RosaMarie

I understand your concern about prejudice and stereotypes. Many Christians do strive to make a distinction between extremist groups and peaceful followers of other faiths, just as you'd like them to. Let's focus on promoting understanding and respect between people of different backgrounds.

@RosaMarie Christianity is not a religion, it's a way of life
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Honestly, it’s stuff that I did in the past. I bullied people at school/college and now I’m scared that if I stick my head out of the water then people will call me out on it all.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Thankyou for that. That means a lot.@LadyGrace
@Strongtea 🫂❤ You're really a great guy. You can be proud of how you turned out and intentionally turned things around. That shows real maturity and courage. People will notice that and learn to respect you for that. That's a great legacy to pass on to everyone.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Thankyou so much, your words are always inspirational.@LadyGrace
My life is the way I want it. Quiet and relaxed
@Shybutwilling2bfriends
That's the way it should be. Congratulations. I feel the same.

Fear and anxiety and not being able to control things keeps me back
@Cigarguy Sadly, my friend, we can not control everything, but what we can do is control how we respond to everything. We can try to avoid those things that cause anxiety and upset us. I know that's not always easy, but it is an alternative.

That's a really tough spot to be in. Fear and anxiety are holding you back from moving forward. One thing that might help is recognizing that you're not alone in feeling this way. Lots of people struggle with fear and anxiety. I'm really sorry you have to deal with this on a daily basis. Know that we love you, and you're not alone. You have our support.

Have you found any coping mechanisms or strategies that work for you, or is there something specific that's triggering these feelings for you right now?

My husband and my innate laziness
@YoMomma
What do you think would help you remedy this situation? How can you get to a better place in your life? Do you have any plans?
YoMomma ·
@LadyGrace nope no plans
@YoMomma I hate to see you unhappy. Wish you could work it out with him. He sounds very controlling and that's not good. That's abuse.

One person zozo the Ouija board demon he won't leave me alone he keeps asking me for sex
saintsong · 41-45, F
@myfaithischristian Yes LadyGrace is absolutely right, you can come back to Jesus and even though the evil spirits will pretend to be Jesus or God, don't give up on the one True God over the years the One true God will make Himself known to you if you workout your salvation and commit to Him fully, and maybe even one day He will make your darkness turn to light!!! Where there were once demons, now there are Heavenly Angels, where there was darkness now there is light! Where there was once sin is now sanctification and love and a closeness towards God like no other!! I've dabbled in witchcraft like you and was so so lost, until Jesus redeemed me and gave me LIFE and lead the way and Thy Kingdom came!!! He has become so real to me, and my heart swells with Love for Him I've never been more blessed and more happier in my life! Give faith a fighting chance, and ignore the demons all of them, even the ones pretending to be God, When you meet the One true God You'll know, We must get to know God while still alive and make peace in this lifetime!!!
myfaithischristian · 36-40, F
@saintsong I have never done witchcraft only watched videos of it I do not even know how to do it or what it is all I have ever done is try opening my third eye to meet god and did

@vbxcfg
Thanks but I don't need your permission to deal with it. I probably decided to block you since you're a troll and don't know how to respect boundaries. I suspect you're the same troll that attempted to harrass me the other day and I blocked. Bye.
