What was your adult equivalent of finding out Santa isn’t real?

I believe it was when I married for the second time. I was 21 at the time of my second marriage, and I honestly believed in that whole 1950's Disneyland Great American dream. I was going to stay home and cook and take care of my babies. Reality was NOTHING like that.
