If a person lacks empathy, can he/she learn it?

If they truly lack empathy then I don’t think so, this tends to manifest as things like antisocial personality disorder or what in popular culture people refer to as sociopaths. If memory serves me correctly I think there are measurable differences in brain activity.

@Notladylike like everything else there is nature v nature. Some people are unable to show empathy or even any emotional connection.
