Did you see the Erika Kirk video of forgiveness?

I’m astonished that you really get that amazing Christian vibe, but I couldn’t help wondering if she was an actress before she married. I don’t mean any disrespect whatsoever but I thought about Meghan Markle when I watched it.

Yes, I applaud her for standing before the world and forgiving the man alleged to have murdered her beloved husband. I’m sure as she reflects on the triumph of her Christian faith she will find that she heels much quicker than those who offer no forgiveness.

We all do stupid things which we regret to our God. Yes, some people just spit fire all the day long like it was someone else’s fault that they did what they did. If you can’t accept responsibility for your actions despite your being seen to have done them then how do you expect us to give you the fruits of forgiveness instead of the gas chamber?

A life for a life is a rule in the Hebrew Scriptures and if we are hard hearted that is the price for the outrage to the common good.

It was especially dramatic in context with the ones that came after from a convicted felon and sex predator who is also a pedophile enthusiast who was invited to speak and told the crowd, "I hate my opponents. I only wish the worse for them."

You can't be a genuine Christian and cheer and hoot for that sentiment while also cheering for Erika Kirk's forgiveness just moments before. The fact that the crowd did only makes Kirk's death seem more like a performance event. But, let's reserve judgment until we hear what Jimmy Kimmel has to say when he returns to his show on ABC on Tuesday night.
